Join us to mark the winter solstice in the natural space of The Lido as darkness falls.

Winter solstice honours the shortest day of the year, a time of reflection but also of looking forward to the return of daylight and the sun.

 

We’ll celebrate the shortest day with cold dips and hot saunas, twinkling lights and a crackling fire pit, under the wide sky.

Saunas and pool will be open 16:00–19.30. Sauna is bookable in half-hour timed sessions.

Then enjoy the peace in the open air beside the fire pit or in one of our indoor warm spaces.

The café will be serving a special menu of hot snacks, and a range of hot and cold drinks including mulled cider and boozy hot chocolate.

This event is for adults (18+) only.

Tickets cost: £9 swimming only

                       £16 swim + sauna

                       £7.50 sauna only

                       £5 spectators

Please note that you need to be fit and healthy, to the best of your knowledge, to take part in cold water swimming and sauna. Every individual ticket booked will be accompanied by a health note check.
